Angelenos come in all shapes and sizes, and that's true even during the zompocalypse. While there are still some survivors to find in Dead Island 2, there's also an endless number of zombies that are just waiting for you to smash, slash, and slay them. From the simple Walker to the enormous Crusher, there are plenty of foes to keep you on your toes.

Stroll the streets of HELL-A and you're bound to come across any number of standard zombies. These Walkers, Runners, and Shamblers are exactly what you expect from a classic zombie – easy enough to handle by themselves, though a large group can be a little more troublesome. Your average zombie might be straightforward to deal with, but not all enemies are equal. A Walker in riot gear might still be a little slow getting around, for example, but that body armor will make them a tougher foe than the same zombie in surf shorts.

The Angelenos left in HELL-A are a diverse bunch – rollerbladers, crossfitters, those kinds of people – and some of them have transformed into even deadlier zombies. These Elite variants can seriously ruin your day if you're not prepared for them, but with the right perks and weapons you may be able to bring them to their knees. Each one has its own specific method of messing with you – Screamers knock you back and alert nearby zombies, Slobbers slather you in bile, and Crushers… well you can figure that one out yourself. But hey, the bigger they are, the harder they fall, right?
